Mario Cinquemani was born on January 4th, 1982. He began studying under Willy Wang, a sculptor from Beijing, in Houston in 2003-2004. He took a workshop with New York painter Robert Venosa in Austin, Tx in 2005. In Guadalajara, Cinquemani has studied drawing with Jose Fors and has continued his studies with Carlos Vargas Pons.

He started traveling through Europe when he was 18 with a theatre company. Performing in Rome and Madrid, Cinquemani became exposed the art of the great masters. While in Rome he fell in love for the first time, and eventually adopted his girlfriend’s last name, Cinquemani
